Professional high-mounting PIR motion sensor with daylight detection function, designed for mounting heights up to 30 meters with 360° detection coverage.
Product Overview
The MSA250S IR is a high-performance PIR motion sensor featuring Merrytek's exclusive super high lens technology. When installed at 3-30m heights, it achieves maximum 30m diameter detection coverage. Combined with advanced software algorithms, it accurately detects human movements in various industrial scenarios to trigger smart lighting applications.

Important Wiring Notes:
1. LN terminal stands for AC input, L'N stands for AC output. Please wire correctly.
2. One sensor's maximum loading capacity is 2000W resistive and 1200W inductive for a single load. For additional loads in one loop, we recommend adding an AC contactor to the output LN terminal to avoid momentary surge overload.

Detection Signal Information
The product detects human moving signals. Moving signal detection identifies significant human movement (walking) within the detection area.
Initialization Process
When powered on, the sensor indicator will turn off after flashing for 20 seconds. The sensor will not detect moving signals during this initialization period. After 20 seconds, you can use the rotation switch or remote control to adjust detection area, hold time, daylight sensor, and other parameters.

Installation & Usage Guidelines
  • Sensor must be installed by a professional electrician in a power-off state
  • Typical installation height is 10m for indoor use only
  • Install away from hot or rapidly changing temperature areas to avoid false triggers
  • Ensure no large objects within detection area (sensor cannot detect through objects)
  • Avoid placement near strong-reflect objects, wifi routers, microwave ovens to prevent false triggers
  • Detection area function is based on 25℃ environment temperature - performance varies with temperature changes
  • Detection optimized for tangential movement; radial movement detection range is shorter due to PIR characteristics
